This album features the 2011 Apra NZ Childrens Song of the Year "Beans about Beans".

‘Life in the key of…’ is a short musical written and directed by Jeremy Mayall and Katie Clarke.
It looks at the everyday journeys of an ordinary man. He gets up, has breakfast with his family, then goes to work. After work he goes to the gym, stops off at the supermarket to pick up a few things, then spends the remainder of the evening with his family.

The only difference is that everyone around him is in a musical – they sing and dance their ways through life while he is left to wonder what is going on…? Will he manage to keep up with it all, or will this madness drive him to distraction?

‘Life in the key of…” was performed as part of the Hamilton Ignition Fringe Festival in June 2010.
